DIE 4 JAHRESZEITEN
-neu verTANZt
What happens when the seasons fall out of balance?
The four seasons enter into conflict – their familiar order begins to unravel.
Movement becomes an expression of change and balance.
Set to music by Antonio Vivaldi in Max Richter’s re-composition, a choreography unfolds through breathtaking images, tender emotions, a touch of humour, and dynamic turning points.
A dance theatre piece for young and old that awakens the feeling of spring – even in autumn.
The piece invites us to reflect on our relationship with nature. When the seasons lose their order, this reflects not only a conflict expressed through dance, but also our present-day reality – a world in transition. In this way, it creates a sensual awareness of climate and balance, without words, yet with a lasting impact.
With an international ensemble from Germany, Japan, and Austria, TANZTHEATRAL brings together different movement languages to create a powerful dance about the forces of the seasons.
