TANZTHEATRAL works with a hybrid ensemble and a core creative team. The company brings together distinctive artistic voices in a multilayered aesthetic and creates both full-length productions as well as shorter formats for festivals and other cultural contexts. Beyond traditional stage works, TANZTHEATRAL is interested in projects in public spaces, pieces for young audiences with educational formats, collaborations with museums, and site-specific works. Cooperation with other artists and partners is an integral part of their working approach.

The choreographies emerge according to the Slow-Made principle: decelerated, with space for research, friction, and resonance. This allows the works to grow gently, leaving room for what lies between the movements — and, above all, with conscious awareness. Themes such as climate change, reconnection with nature, and a queer-feminist perspective on narratives, identities, and tensions flow through their work.
