The contemporary dance theatre piece NiemandsFrau tells the story of an encounter between two women at an old railway station – a place filled with memories.
The performance reflects on women’s lives in the 19th century and today. It explores intimacy, missed opportunities, and what may be possible between two women today – and what once was not allowed.
Two suitcases serve as transformable stage objects. In the hands of the dancers, they become hiding places, pieces of luggage, or imagined spaces.
The narrative structure of the piece combines storytelling scenes with abstract, atmospheric movement images, creating an emotional tension between longing, humor, and melancholy.
The soundscape was developed from train sounds, ambient noises, and violin melodies.
